Notice to Applicants RE: De Novo Charters

Applicants seeking a new Texas state bank charter have a choice to utilize either the Bank Charter Application form or the Interagency Charter and Federal Deposit Insurance Application form.  Those applicants wishing to utilize the Interagency form must submit the following items in order for the application to be considered complete:

• the $5,000 application fee
• Interagency Charter and Federal Deposit Insurance Application
• Page 2 of the Bank Charter Application
• Verified Statement of Subscriber Form for each shareholder
• Authority to Release Information Form for each director, executive officer, and principal shareholder

Policies need not be forwarded with the application, but must be available at the investigation. The Information Technology Request List should be completed and forwarded as soon as possible after submission of the application.
